Beach Bluff Park

Beach Bluff Park is a serene oceanfront retreat, lovingly maintained and open to the public year-round. Whether you're strolling along its winding paths, relaxing on one of the many benches, or descending the steps to the beach, there’s always something to captivate you. At the heart of the park stands the striking Sun Circle, a sculptural installation by artist Bruce Greenwald with guidance from astronomer Jim Keating. This ring of basalt columns serves as a gathering place for quiet reflection, celestial observation, and seasonal celebrations—particularly during solstice and equinox sunrises.

The park’s landscape is a harmonious blend of native flora, including bayberry, tamarisk, blueberry, and rosa rugosa, offering both beauty and resilience against the coastal elements. As you wander, pause to take in the sweeping ocean views or enjoy a picnic while listening to the rhythmic crash of waves.
