Our Parking Lot
Beach Bluff Park is maintained by private funds generated by the Clifton Improvement Association (CIA), a non-profit organization. The CIA provides open access to the beach and parking in our lot on Atlantic and Seaview Avenues, as well as advocacy for the coastal environment.
The parking lot is staffed by our "agents" Memorial Day through Labor Day. They are there weekends in June and seven days a week in July and August. Their hours may be dependent upon tides and weather.
An annual membership entitles you to free parking all summer long and helps keep the park a beautiful refuge for you and your family. Learn more about our membership or join here!
Daily parking is also available for $10 on weekdays and $15 on weekends and holidays on a first come, first served basis. There may be busy days in high season when the lot is designated Members Only, to ensure members can get a spot.
We ask that all using our parking lot be considerate, park appropriately (not taking up more than one space) and dispose of all garbage and recyclables in the bins provided. You are welcome to park in the lot when there is no agent on duty but overnight or extended parking requires board approval.
Little Free Library
Beaches and books have always been a winning combination and in 2014, Kristen Nyberg's idea came to fruition when the CIA rebuilt our storage shed and architect Bruce Greenwald designed it with a built-in Little Free Library!
All are welcome to take a book and encouraged to leave books as well. Sitting with your toes in the sand and finished that great beach read? Leave it for someone else to share the pleasure and grab something new!
We suggest newish paperbacks (easier to prop up on your beach towel) and we are always looking for kids and teen novels to share as well.
